I became a Scentsy Mama TWICE this week and other exciting stuff :)

So other then starting the week with a nasty allergic reaction to something, that we still don't know what it is from, this week has been pretty fantastic. So here's the highlights!
Scentsy is booming!! I have two new team members this week, and I am so excited. I have order's coming in, I've sent samples and thank you cards to each person that's placed an order last month and this month. Things are starting to fall into place and I love it! When I signed up, I signed up just because I wanted to support my "habit". Now I am booking party's, growing my team, and loving every minute of it! It help's so much when you are on a team that's like a family and so supportive. I ♥ my Scentsy family and I am glad that it is growing!
Things with G are improving ALOT, she is now on her 2 week break from school, but she has went 8 whole school day's in row with no problems. She seems happier, shes listening better and I don't want to pull my hair out anymore...lol It has been a frustrating for us as parents to watch her struggle, because she really is such a sweet kid. She is so ready to go back to cheering, I felt horrible last weekend when her best friend was competing, and she wanted nothing more then to be there. Less then 2 month's til the new season starts, and I am not going to lie, I am just as ready to be back with my "cheer mom besties" as she is to be back with her bestie!
Were down to less then 2 weeks til K leaves for her big band trip to cali, yes I am letting my daughter fly across the country with 110 other students, parents, and staff to compete. It a huge honor to be in a band that takes trips like that, and I am so glad she is getting to experience this. One of my very best friend's is going, so that makes me feel much better! Then she comes home, and is going on a mission trip to NYC for spring break. I'm hoping that she will be humbled at how little some people actually have, and realize that not every person wears 75$ jeans from the mall.
And finally HAPPY ST PATRICKS DAY!! 9 year's ago today B and I went out for the very first time, and we have been together ever since. He is having a really pretty Celtic cross redone for me, and I thought that was sweet :)

New Meds for the littlest one

I can't belive that I haven't posted anything in like 5 days. Sorry folks, we have had ALOT going on. So we decided that we were going to try G on an ADHD medicine. So far, so good. We are seeing some improvents with the behavior. And hopefully the behavior mod is going to help too. Now they are suggusting trying another medincine with it, and well honestly I am not sure how I feel about it.
I don't have a bad child, shes actully pretty sweet, has a good heart, and is super, super smart. Which is part of the reason that we are going through all this now. She's been given her own way so much, and for so long and babied, that now that it's time for her to do the things that are expected of her, she's acting out- and big time. She doesn't want to do chores or listen at home, and at school she just doesn't want to do the work period. Needless to say it's VERY frustrating. It's so hard to watch your child struggle, and it's also hard to know that people are thinking your not doing what you should be doing as a parent, when you know that you are, and they have no idea what is going on in your house or your life.
When K was little I stayed home, I had plenty of time to help at the school, now that G is in school and I work full time, I feel bad about it. I feel like I should be there more (even though right now I can't help with her class because she has a meltdown with me there) but I still feel like I should be home with her. Going through all of this, and working a full time job on top on it is really starting to take it's toll on me. My job is not the most unstressful job in the world, and it seems like ever since I got my FMLA approved, they are more annoyed because my daughter has appt's and such. And well the only time I really get a break from the behavior is when she is at school, and then I am work. Right now I am not making enough with Thiry One, and Scentsy to be able to stay home, although I wish I was, because I really want to be able to be home.


So that's my post for today, it's kinda not uplifting, or happy, but it's like right now!

YAY for Monday!

So please insert as much sarcasm into the title of this post as you feel nessasary! I personally find Monday to be most possibly the most annoying day of the week. My kids are never happy to go back school, they are normally sleepy on Monday morning, because Sunday night is always a struggle for us to get G to go to bed after 2 days of sleeping in. This weekend was alot harder because she spent Wednesday, Thursday and Friday home sick. Thankfully everyone is all well in our house now and will hopefully stay that way.
I also find Monday's at work to be quite annoying. For some reason's our customer's are all fired up on Mondays about EVERYTHING. And well some of our employees are super grumpy- again you would think that with two days off they (including me) would be in MUCH better moods! Although today is a pretty fantastic day for me as I am back on 6-3, which I LOVE because I still get out of here with enough time to actually get things done. And I have two full hours of being here in basically peace and quite.

This weekend was pretty low key for us, since everyone in our house was sick. I missed out on a huge vendor event for Thirty One, so that was a huge let down since I really needed the contacts from it! On a direct sales plus for the weekend I did 545.00 within my first 15 days with Scentsy- which I am super excited about!!

Being Sick, oh YUCK!!!

So everyone at my house has been sick with this nasty, annoying little running nose, low fever, just feel blah thing. I guess now it's my turn, because when I woke up this morning, now I have it AGAIN. Keep in mind that I felt BLAH last week, and figured it was the same thing everyone else had- I'm guessing either it was, or I have the lovely joy's of getting it not once but twice.
And of course, I have like a thousand things to get done, and be working on. None of which are getting done because of the fact that my head is pounding non stop, and I get to put on the fake " I feel horrible, but I'm am going to set here and smile, because it's my job" which also means, since I am setting at work and not at home resting, that I can count on staying sick for a good while longer. And it's Monday and it was windy and nasty this weekend, so we have lots of happy customers- have I said how much I love my job?!?!?!

Although I do in fact love my other two part time jobs :) It's my regular job that just annoy's me to no end..lol
We did have a pretty uneventful weekend, we went and picked up 200 boxes of girl scout cookies that now I have to sort and deliver. And G went to her bestie's birthday party, which was super fun!

I am still trying to hit my scentsy goal- I have 5 days left, and it's not looking like it's happening. Although I am hoping that I do get some last minute orders and can make it. So I just might make it :) I have some retail Thirty One orders coming in, and a party next week that I am hoping is a pretty good one, with a couple bookings off of it so that I can get going again!!

And here we go for the week!

Another week is here, another week full of lots of things to get done. I have my Thirty One open house this week, and truthfully I am terrified that not alot of people are going to there. I'm also for some silly reason, even though I only joined Scentsty because of how much I ordered- I REALLY want to hit that 500$ of sales in the 1st 15 days!!

Today is little one's first counseling appointment, and well I am scared for her. I am worried that things are not going to improve and she is going to need meds. But I will say this weekend, that we did use alot of time out for her target behaviors- No hitting, cursing, are the main two right now. And normally time out is a battle. It started out hard, and by the end of the weekend she wasn't happy, but she was going. So that's a sign in the right direction.

As if I didn't have enough going on.

Oh and I work a full time job, have a child with ODD that we are getting intense treatment for, and we just bought a house that we have tons of work to do :) So I guess staying busy if good, then I am pleantey busy! I do hope that I can make enough extra off of both to do the things we need to do to the house, plus we have some hefty bills coming up in the next few months.
